Update: We've run into some hurdles.
Don't worry, we're not giving up. I just wanted to give an update as to why there hasn't been an update in a couple weeks.
First off, I need to organize the code. I was just kind of sloppily throwing features together to make the game work, and the lack of organization has really come back to bite me. I am in the long and painful process of rewiring a lot of things, and I'm not sure how long this will take.
Also, we're going to completely redesign the first (and as of right now: the only) level. Instead of nonsensically being in space randomly, you will first start out on the planet of Leviathon, then steal a ship during a cutscene and escape the planet. This will require a lot of new art and programming, so we'll see how long that takes.
We will be redoing the Alminus boss fight as well, as it's not balanced enough right now.
